Colleen

Cécile Schott, a former teacher in the suburbs of Paris, decides one day to leave everything to concentrate solely on his passion: music, and his instrument: the viola de gambe, in turn used as a double bass and then played horizontally as a guitar. Beyond this specificity, yet far from the baroque, Colleen deploys a very personal minimalist electronic, based on loops, which she enhances for the first of her voice on Captain of None. For which album, she signs at Thrill Jockey (The Body , Lightning Bolt , Liturgy ...), just reward a work built with patience for many years.
