Colosseum

The idea of Colosseum took shape in 2006 when Juhani Palomäki, the brain of Yearning , decided to devote himself to more extreme things in order to mix his Doom Metal, Ambient and Classic influences and to develop themes that are dear to him such as the Summerian myths or Locraftians. A first demo arrived very quickly, allowing him to get a deal at Firebox Records and recruit Olli Haaranen (guitar), Janne Rämö (bass) and later Sameli Köykkä (battery), who was himself singing and also holding the guitar. At the end of 2007 the band released its first album, Chapter 1: Delirium .
