Come To Grief

Since its conception in 1991, Grief has been at the forefront of the Sludge movement. Founded by Terry Savastano (Guitare) was as aggressive as Disrupt but slower and depressive. In 2001 the group stopped outside of a few appearances between 2005 and 2009. 2014, Terry decides a kind of Grief meeting that will take the name Come To Grief with Chuck Conlon (Battery - ex Grief), Jonathan Hébert (Guitare) and Justin Christian (Basse - ex Morgion ). Come To Grief played his first concert in 2016 and made a few dates in the north of the United States. They record the ep The Worst Of Times via Fuck Yoga Records and make a few dates in Europe, including the Roadburn and a split with Fistula, which is born that year. Justin left the band and was later replaced by Tim Simpson with whom they recorded the ep Pray For The End in 2020 and released at Grievance Records and Dense(s) Records. Randy Larsen replaced Tim on bass for a year, while Come To Grief recorded and released his first album, When The World Dies, which appeared mid-2022 at Translation Loss Records. Jon Morse replaced Randy at bass in 2022.
