Biography

Driving From The Grave was formed at the end of 2003 following the departure of most With Passion members with Jeff Morgan (Guitare), John Abernathy (Guiatre) Greg Donnelly (Battery), Phil Williamson (Basse) and Shaun Gier (Chant). The band released a first demo very quickly in 2004, Breathe The Blackened Sky, in a Deathcore / Metal style influenced by the great names of the American scene ( All Shall Perish, Suicide Silence ...). Drew Winter replaced Shaun for singing, the latter having decided to devote more time to With Passion, which had just signed at Earache Records. Conducting From The Grave nevertheless released an ep entitled Trials For Forsaken in 2005 and made a small local tour. However, shortly after, Phil decided to leave the group and was followed a few weeks later by Drew's eviction. The combo is then put on a break and its members return for two years in With Passion. In September 2007, Conducting From The Grave returned with the same line-up from the start, a new bassist (Steven Lovas) and Drew who returned to the song. But the latter is not very applied and it was Lou Tanuis (through The Eyes Of The Dead) who replaced him in 2008. The band is ready to release its first album, When Legends Become Dust at Sumerian Records, which they defend for several months on the roads. In 2010, Lou was replaced by Mikey Powell with whom they recorded Revens, which appeared in 2011. Conducting From The Grave then shoots with Suicide Silence, then in 2012 with All Shall Perish, Carnifex, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Fallujah ...
