Formed in Toulouse in January 2008 following the meeting of members of Fire At Will, Erine and Toxcow, Copy Of A Copy recorded its first Lost Everything demo, Do Anything two months later and performed its first concert in June 2008 alongside Cancer Bats. As a result, the Toulousans embarked on a French tour before entering the studio for the recording of the first album.
