Coroner
Biography
Coroner group of Thrash Metal was born in 1985. It is composed of Ron Royce with singing and bass, Tommy T. Baron with guitars and Marquis Marky with drums, this Swiss band excels in a very technical Thrash. In 1986, Coroner recorded his first demo entitled Death Cult with Tom G Warrior ( Hellhammer , Celtic Frost , futur- Triptykon ) on the song. For the next 7 years, the band will publish no less than 5 albums: R.I.P. (1987), Punishment For Decadence (1988), No More Color (1989), Mental Vortex (1991), Grin (1993). Despite an impeccable Coroner technique cultivates sound sobriety. The band perfectly mixes Thrash and Death in singing and guitars, while integrating samples and melodious parts. The result is surprising and Coroner quickly becomes a precursor in his field. The Swiss trio decided to fold in 1995 tired of the lack of support for its label (Noise Records). To thank its audience, Coroner organized a farewell tour throughout Europe in 1996. At the beginning of the 2010s Coroner is reforming and starting the assault on the biggest European festivals.
