Biography
Officially a formation of "Happy Hardcore" Lille created in 2003 and dissolved in 2010, this group of great sick (GREGWAR in drums, MARCHMANINOV in the Nuclear Clavecin, BOBIDI in the Kaktus electric, NIK-NIK in bass and TOMMY LEE JONES in the Crees and Claquettes) makes itself known fairly quickly in the Lille region, distracting us in the good mood, I ask you the question: - a) a metal 12 years old of finesse and voluptuousness defying all understanding? - b): a violent and apocalyptic death metal? - c) : flamenco techno musette tinted with jazz ? - d) : disco grindcore groovy ? The correct answer is a mixture of c) and d), with a hint of reggae. And vomit. Can't? Not for them. Defining themselves as being musically a stomachal gargouillis of a diahrreic octopus, you will have understood it, the group does not care about labels, but not about the place of humor pipi caca and will not cease during their brief existence (reassuring you the members are not dead eh) to throw us full of it: drum does not bass, grind, hardcore, reggae, waltz and even dance, nothing scares them, and it is always incredibly well done. They released their first and last album in 2007, under the wonderful counterpetry "Sick My Duck", in an almost complete anonymity. Yet it is an incredible album that the Lille quintet delivers here, short but never boring, quite technical and always groovy, in short of the high-color fusion. For the moment no rumor of re-training on the horizon, and that is a shame, because the French musical landscape needed such an UFO.
