Cougars was born from the ashes of the Ska Hot Stove Jimmy , as well as Big'N , and had nothing less than eight members to his credit. The band took shape in 2000, and after a lot of dates with Oxes , Living Things , and others Arab On Radar , went to sign up at Go Kart Records ( Ten Foot Pole , Anti Flag , ...) which will release Nice, Nice , their first record in September 2003. The following year, Thick Records ( Horace Pinker, The Tossers,...) will publish the EP Manhandler and then follow again dates with Ted Leo, or Mastodon. Cougars will then lock up in Studio with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, ...) to record their second opus released last October: Pillow Talk.
