Biography

Counterblast was born in Jönköping in 1993 around members of G-Anx, combo d-beat cult. After six months of activity, Palle (claviers) and a singer, Martin, join Janne Meijner and Andreas for the recording of a first demo that will go largely unnoticed. In the spring of 94, Janne decided to leave Counterblast, who was leaving in search of a guitarist. After a few attempts, the band dropped out and decided to continue the adventure with a single scratch for a Swedish tour alongside Extinction of Mankind and Warcollapse. Back, Couterblast entered the studio to re-register the titles of the demo that for the release of Prospects 7". Two years later, the first balance of bread albium was born. In 1997, the Swedish sailed for a two-week tour with Scatha. Soon after Martin was replaced by Jocke. Counterblast crossed the Atlantic for a series of concerts in the States in 1999. Until 2002, the band will continue to compose for its second album. We must wait until 2010 to hear again about Counterblast.
