Biography

Countless Skies is an English Death Metal Melodic band, named after the epic eponymous title of Be'lakor , released shortly before the creation of the British formation. The first ep of Countless Skies comes out at the end of 2014 and is well received enough to catapult the group until the Bloodstock Open Air 2015 festival. Phil Romea (Basse / Chant), Nathan Robshaw (Battery), James Pratt (Guitare / Chant) and Ross King (Guitare / Chant) released their first album, New Dawn , in mid-2016 at Kolony Records. The album is considered as good as the ep and new doors open to the English, who spin with Whispered . Countless Skies signed with Willowtip Records in 2020 and released his new album Glow in early November of the same year. The formation makes his compositions more subtle and emotionally charged on this album, moving away from the style "purely Death Mélo to the Insomnum " (group to which they are often compared), to venture into progressive lands. After defending Glow in concert by adding a cellist to their line-up stage, the band recorded some tracks with this guest in live in studio mode. This gives birth to Resonance.
