Crime In Stereo
Biography
Crime In Stereo was born in the early 2000s in the cradle of one of the most prolific HxC scenes, the state of New York. With a first demo made in 2001, the combo is offered the possibility to open for Cro-Mags and record a split 7 with Kill Your Idols. This experience leads to the band's first album, Explosives and the Will to Use Them, which is released via Blackout Records. A year and an Ep The Contract later, CIS arrived at Nitro to box The Trouble Stateside in the spring, always with hardcore punk as a musical expression. With a popular success, New Yorkers are getting involved in signing a deal with Bridge 9 for the release of their new effort, with Mike Sapone at the hands of Brand New's The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me, marking a turning point in CIS's career with a new sound orientation: Is Dead (2007). The next album is announced for 2009. Meanwhile, a compilation of titles from the recordings of the last two albums was released in the fall of 2008 under the name Selective Wreckage .
