Crisix
Biography
Crisix is a Thrash Metal band formed in 2008 by Marc "Firefly" Torras Mata and Javi "Carry" Carrión López in Igualada near Barcelona, Spain / Catalonia. They were quickly joined by Marc "Busi" Busqué Plaza, Albert Requena Mateu and Juli Baz "Bazooka" Sánchez. The band can be considered part of the New Wave of Thrash Metal. The line-up remains stable, only the bassist position has evolved, and today Pla Vinseiro is the incumbent of the position. One of the particularities of the band: its members play several instruments and do not hesitate to exchange them on stage. The band is also known for the visual quality of its clips, most of which are made by singer Juli "Bazooka", apparently a fan of retro horror films! Among the classics of the band: Ultra Thash , G.M.M. (The Great Metal Motherf*cker) and W.N.M. United (with some guests!). The popularity of Crisix grew in France in 2022 following the tour of Hellfest's warm-up, and then a visit to the festival's Main Stage the same year (despite a covided drummer!).
