Formed around 2006 in Portland (Maine), Cruel Hand is initially the side-project of Outbreak members. The guitarist Chris Linkovich takes the microphone for the occasion while drummer Nate Manning gives himself the guitar, Seger Dailey continuing on bass. They are joined by Jeremy Breau (battery) and Cam Foley (guitar). After a 7" s/t , Cruel Hand released his first album, Without A Pulse , in April 2007 at 6131 Records and then began concerts with Trash Talk and The Mongolian , continued with a European tour and played in April 2008 with Outbreak and Miles Away . At the end of June 2008, the band signed with Bridge Nine Records and entered the studio in July (Gateway Recording Studio) with Jay Maas ( Verse , Carpathian ). After a 7" title Life In Shambles , the second album by Cruel Hand , Prying Eyes , was released in October 2008. The band performs concerts with H2O, Bane and Energy and returns to Europe at the end of the year with Have Heart.
