Biography

Dark Angel is an American Thrash Metal band from California formed in 1981. After a few demos, the first album We Have Arrived was released in 1985 and allowed the band to play Slayer , Megadeth , Venom ... Darkness Descends , in 1986, met with some success. After this album, there are many changes in line-up to singing, guitar and bass. In 1989, Leave Scars received praiseful criticism and succeeded in placing himself on the American charts. Live Scars is recorded during the resulting tour. A final opus, Time Does Not Heal , appeared in 1991 before the group split up the following year. In 2002, Dark Angel reformed, but the meeting ended in 2005 due to health problems of singer Ron Rinehart. A second reformation took place in 2013 and gave rise to a few concerts, notably at Hellfest 2014. Since then, a new album would be in preparation, but no release date is yet envisaged.
