Dave Weiner

Freshly landed in California to join the Guitar Institute of Technology in the late 1990s, Dave Weiner joined a box as an intern, and was forced to meet Steve Vai when he had to deliver documents. After several interviews, Dave Weiner passes him a demo... and maybe after Steve Vai calls him to tell him to come and start rehearsals quickly in case he wants to go on a world tour with him. Since 1999, he has become Steve Vai's tour guitarist, which did not prevent him from releasing 3 albums, the first on Steve Vai's label, Favored Nations, the last being a totally acoustic album. Besides that, since 2005, he has been running his Riff Of The Week site, on which we can find a lot of educational videos on the guitar, with updates every week.
