Day By Day
Biography
The story of Day By Day began in March 2000, a special sign for this band from Mars...eille. It all started with Jérémie, Guillaume, Olivier and Rebecca, a quickly modified line-up that recorded the first demo of the group "Tunes for the cookie jar" in total DIY in June 2001. At the end of 2002, Olivier went to Canada and was replaced by John on guitar, and it was the beginning of the tours for Day By Day which for debuts made rather strong, playing in France, belgique, Germany, Holland (Peacedog festival) and even in Norway on the DP Festival. This follows a concert with the Satanic Surfers that leads them to change the line-up again. Olivier returns and Virginie replaces Rebecca on bass. The new (and current) composition of the band is Jeremiah (guitar/song), Virginia (bass), Olivier (guitar) and Guillaume (battery/chorus). After a sabatic year and an appearance on a compilation of the German label Guideline Records, the band released its latest album (9 tracks) " The difference between truth and fact "recorded and mixed by Christian Carvin, somewhere between MxPx and Goldfinger, from the melodic punk, as we say at home. The band had important relations with the southerners of Fickle and Freygolo, with whom they had several concerts.
