Brazilian band from Vitoria (Espirito Santo), Stage Dive made his musical debut in 1992. At first, the band played only to entertain themselves, especially during the skate sessions. Multiplying the concerts, Stage Dive draws attention and begins to make a name on the local scene. The band then decided to change their surname, first opting for Bastards Aleluiah, then Dead Fresh Fish to finally stop on Dead Fish. After a few shows, the Brazilians recorded their first demo eight tracks, soberly titled N°1. If it goes more or less unnoticed, on the other hand Re-Progresso , the second demo made in 1995, achieves a much more important success worth to Dead Fish of very good chronicles, especially in an Italian fanzine. The band is then spotted by the label Grito, subdivision of Epitaph Records. Despite all these encouragements, the group decided to separate. In 1997, Rodrigo and Noo recruited guitarists Giuliano and Murilo, as well as bassist Alyand, in the hope of reviving Dead Fish. Therefore, the training moves to a higher speed. The following year, Sirva-Se , an album made up of old and new compositions, was released, followed in 1999 by Sonho Medio, who organized a national tour. After Afasia , released in 2001, it was not until 2004 that Dead Fish returned to the studio. Between January and February, the band recorded Zero e Um , fourth album, under the direction of Rafael Ramos, the mixing being entrusted to Ryan Greene (NOFX , Sick Of It All ). With the release of Un Homem So in 2006, Dead Fish is now leading Brazilian punk rock and has allowed the emergence of such formations as Reffer, Additive or Surprise Set.
