Death By Stereo
Biography
Southern Californian group that emerged in the mid-1990s, Death By Stereo (Efrem Shultz (chant), Paul Miner (bass), Jim Miner (guitar), Dan Palmer (guitar), and Bill Bender (battery), later replaced by Todd Hennig) wanted to be direct and sharp (in his music and attitude) from the beginning. An approach that pleases the Indecision label that releases their first If Looks Could Kill galette, I'd Watch You Die in 1998. After a few small tours leading to an increase in their number of fans, DBS signed on Epitaph to whom they released Day Of the Death (early 2001). At the end of 2002, Jim Miner married and left the band, he was replaced by Tito, who arrived just in time for the release of Into the Valley Of Death in April 2003. Last change to date: Jim's brother Paul Miner also left the troupe and was replaced by Tyler Rebb as bassist. After the cancellation of a European tour, DBS returned to the studio to record Death For Life (released on 06 June 2005, still on Epitaph).
