Biography

Death Engine , a Lorient trio composed of Mikaël Le Diraison (Guitare / Chant), Eric Le Quer (Basse) and Olivier Ruault (Batterie), formed in October 2011 and played a violent and noise-based Hardcore. A first ep, Amen , was released jointly by Throatruiner Records, Basement Apes Industries and North Cult Records in 2013. The album, named Mud , arrived in early 2015. After a two-year break, Death Engine returns with new influences, but still wants to make noise with Place Noire in 2018. At the beginning of 2019, fatigue is felt in the group that pauses, but returns mid-2020 to the quartet format composed of Mikaël Le Diraison (Guitare / Chant), Tony Bozanic (Guitare), Sébastien Mollo (Basse) and Tom Shannon (Batterie). Ocean, a disc composed during confinements, released in early 2023 at Throatruiner Records and Code Records and shows a new face of the band more Post Metal with influences at the Cult Of Luna or Isis.
