Deathspell Omega
Biography
Deathspell Omega is one of these groups of black metal with rather thick mysteries. No concrete information exists about him, and it is only by guess that these are deductible. The combo was formed in 1998, a priori by Hasjarl and Shaxul after the split of their former formation Hirilorn. Mikko A, the man in command of the Northern Heritage label, is the only officially known member of Deathspell Omega, who he joined in 2003 as a vocalist. This mystery hovering around the formation - an almost banal situation for the middle - does not, of course, prevent him, given the quality of his records, from being raised to the side of Blut Aus Nord, to the rank of leader of the French scene, having shaped a sound very clean, fully joining the spirit of the latter: dissonances, macabre atmospheres and inhuman violence seem to be the slogans for the music of the band.
