Desoto Jones is first of all the project of three ill-written brothers following the arrest of A Long Winter. Battery, singing, guitar, need a bass player, preference a long-time friend, Ean Kyler, who joins the new formation despite his expatriation in Germany. Returning home in August 2004, and a lot of changes to the second guitar position before the quartet stared at Christopher Gill.
The now quintet will first publish two EPs, The Troubleshooting Is Over, followed by Stay Awake Stay Alive, before being noticed and signed in November 2007 by Deep Elm Records (Latterman, Camber,...) that will release their very first full-length the following month: Aurora.
