Destruction Unit
Biography
Born in the early 2000s Like a simple Synth-Punk project led by Ryan Rousseau (assisted by his brother Rusty), Destruction Unit takes a while to be identified as a full-fledged band. It was only in 2004 with the release of its first album that the machine really started the publication of Self Destruction Of a Man . This first album, as well as the next one, have the peculiarity of having been recorded by the fratrie with the members of Lost Sounds (one of the many bands of Jay Reatard). Nevertheless, the association's thundering beginnings were stopped net in 2006. Back in on Arizona natal, Ryan Rousseau surrounded himself with new partners and released a new version of the band. Now more focused on the psyched side of sizzling music, this second incarnation of Destruction Unit has since ceased to densify its musical signature by incorporating new elements (Noise, Garage, Neo Psychedelia...) on each release. Signed at Sacred Bones since 2013 and the release of Deep Trip, Destruction Unit returns in 2015 with an eighth LP: Negative Feedback Resistor.
