Deviant Process
Biography
Deviant Process was formed in Quebec City, Canada in 2009 on the ashes of Psychoic Pain. The band then consists of Jean-Daniel Villeneuve (Guitare / Chant), Stéphane Simard (Guitare / Chant), Pierre-Luc Beaulieu (Basse) and Olivier Genest (Batterie) who released together a first ep two titles, Narcissistic Rage , in 2011. Antoine Baril ( Augury ) replaced Olivier behind the drums in 2012, but was replaced by François Fortin in 2014. Thus Deviant Process began to develop its progressive and technical Death Metal through a first effort, Paroxysm, which appeared in 2016 at PRC Music. Pierre-Luc left the formation immediately after and was replaced at bass by Philippe Cimon. Canadians are discreet and in 2019 Michel Bélanger replaced François with the battery. Deviant Process's line-up is now stabilized and they return to Season Of Mist in 2021 with an even more accomplished album: Nuture .
