Biography

It was in 1999 near Orleans that DevonMiles formed. The first style explored by the band is a kind of power-pop/noise. In the passing years, DevonMiles decided to explore more distant horizons. The couplet-refrain recipe is no longer enough for them. The rhythm leaves more room for groove, while remaining inside, which is not without reminding Fugazi or even Helmet. Devonmiles shares the poster with bands like Dead Pop Club, Bumblebees, Flying Donuts, Unlogistic, Enki, Motel, Grizzly Twister, Maria Blonde or Gravity Slaves. Through the collective PP&M (Gravity Slaves , Burning Heads , Baxters ), the band members show their involvement in the independent rock scene in Orléans and beyond: organizing concerts, broadcasting on Radio Campus Orléans... In 2003 the ep 6 Screduble tracks distributed by PP&M in CD-R via a few distros and concerts. In February 2006 a new ep, Nine Hundred , was released, recorded by Guillaume Duneau at Bou (45). 5 tracks, 15 minutes, for a more direct DevonMiles. Nine Hundred is a co-production between PP&M and the HB Records label, managed by Sly, bassist of the late Homeboys.
