Diablo Swing Orchestra
Biography
True history dates back to the early 16th century, when the heads of the members of a successful orchestra were priced by the Lutheran church, accusing them and their music of being the work of the evil. The troupe then saw itself obliged to lead a life of fugitive, until the day when they decided to show themselves one last time to the public for a grand concert. Before going on stage, the musicians sealed a pact that their souls would meet 500 years later to reform the orchestra. At the end of the farewell concert, all the scores were burned and the members were arrested and hanged... It was in 2003, and it was in Sweden in Stockholm that six musicians decided to stage Diablo Swing Orchestra (DSO). If it is not obvious to describe the energygumene that DSO is, the surname can put us on the path: the "diablo" symbolizes these sins, rock see metal, the "swing" refers to this jazzy interpretation of music, and the "orchestra" is justified by this panel of instruments used by the formation. A unique concept, especially when you know that all this is accompanied by a singer. A detonating mix that in 2006, since the release of the first album, "The Butcher's Ballroom", has not escaped the eye of specialized media. The Swedish people are now waiting and it was in October 2009 that the band's second album, "Sing-Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious" arrived.
