Impregnate by hours of images scrutinized on large screen and the head filled with abrasive guitars, it was late 2007 that the group DirectorsCut took shape to combine with the power of rock music, the emotions conveyed by the cinema. After a first CD promo released in 2009 and many concerts, the band released its first album, Septem , early 2011. The influence of cinema, which is predominant in the group's concept, is expressed both in the video projections used in concert and in the visuals, atmospheres and texts interpreted in French.
