Dirge

Dirge was formed in 1994 at the initiative of Marc T. and Laurent P., and is active in an industrial metal to which they will remain faithful on 3 demos: Infected Brain Machine, Mind Time Control and Dead Network Access. Shortly thereafter, Laurent P. left the group, but two new members came to replace him: David K. and Franck T.. The band made a musical turn towards a noise branch. 1998 sees the release of the first album Down, Last Level . The following year, Alain B. and Christophe D. joined the band, adding to the music, making it more abrasive, and the band released its second album Blight And Vision Below A Faded Sun in 2000. Frank T. and David K. left the band, replaced by Chrisitan M. and Stéphane L. and Dirge released his third album And Shall The Sky Descend in 2004. The band then followed the concerts with, for example, Unsane, Nasum, Cult Of Luna and then locked up in the studio at the end of 2006 to record Wings Of Lead Over Dormant Seas, which was released in 2007.Dirge began to smear the concerts, then closed in the studio to record Elysian Magnetic Fields, which was released in early 2011. The group then returns in 2014 with Hyperion, then at the end of 2018 with Lost Empyrean.
