Biography
Where did Disbeer come from? From
Southwest, where there's more than just rugby and cassoulet. Auch precisely, where
The punk scene is already prolific. It's on a watered evening that The
Bomber (battery) and The Motherfucker (guitar, ex-Enola Gay) released the idea
of a group taking over the torch of Discharge, Motorhead and their heroes of the
Swedish crust. It will soon be put into practice for a few concerts
locals including one with the Americans of Dropdead, and others less, as in
Orléans where is recorded a live of poor quality as demo K7. Our
two larrons then record some tracks at Madrigal Studios, which
will eventually form their first EP "Beer Drinkers And
Hellraisers, released in 97 by Panx Records, and joined by The
Hammer down. They go back and smear the clubs and squats of the southwest and
France, accompanied by their great friends of Auch, Sickness, formations
equally poetic and even Disfear and Edge Of Sanity, still taking
the time to return to Madrigal Studio in 98 between two sound demonstrations.
Their almost incessant tours lead them to Belgium and Germany, where
they play in an anarcho-punk festival in Leipzig – the Zoro Fest –
where they take the time to make a new live recording, this time
more listening. Return to France via Switzerland, then exit two
Eps in 2000: The Frost, Murder Records and The Mighty Boozer at
Panx Records. Follow the recording of a new album this time at
VolteFace studios. Disbeer then leaves again on the roads, then decides once
come back to setting up his own label, Devil Records, following a deterioration
from their relationship with Panx Records who are slow to release the new cake.
After some news
More or less rough dates, The Hammer decides to leave the ship, quickly
replaced by Cafard. At the end of 2001, they finally came out by their own care.
first and only album: Kids In Satanic Service , aka K.I.S.S, 13 tracks accompanied
from the live at the Leipzig Zoro Fest, 1000 copies and distributed by
tripotée of underground labels including Murder and Panx Records.
As appropriate, they
the clubs and squats of France and Belgium, in particular the
small festival "Blitzkrieg Bop" with Driller Killer leading
poster to Gent. Back in Auch in 2001, they recorded some new
songs for a compilation with other Auch groups under the name of
"Voice 2" with their confreres of Sickness as well as Death Buring, Kro'n'Oi and Drie Lagen. It will be released later in 2003, while
that some isolated dates follow with a German tour where they
find Dropdead with whom they share two dates, but find themselves
tainted with bad plans and other lack of bowl. This tour will be right to
Cafard who prefers to give his place to The Fastbeer who will officer at bass
A few more months. Disbeer finally split up in 2004 after the jet
The Bomber, a founding member without whom The Motherfucker does not want
Continue the band. They still decide to take out the few
Unpublished recordings on a last disc « The Very Little Discography
and Fortunaly Unrealized".
However, they did not
the guitars definitely and continue to animate loudly the stirring scene
Crust of Auch and Southwest among the Violent Grannies and the unbeatable Sickness.
