Originally from Eindhoven (Netherlands), Discipline formed in the early 1990s. After many line-up upheavals, the combo stabilizes and signs a deal with Lost And Found Records in 1995, when their first production, Stompin' Crew EP, was released. This ep is followed a year later by the first album Guilty As Charged . The reactions were positive and Discipline embarked on a series of concerts with The Business, among others. In 1998, the band recorded its second album The Bulldog Style, which aims to meet the Oi movement and hardcore. This album has a certain impact in the underground world but, due to problems of violence at some of their concerts, Discipline is forced to take a little step back. The situation became clearer shortly after, but relations with the label became so fragmented that the combo slammed the door and signed with I Scream Records. The first album with the new label was released in 1999. Entitled Nice Boys Finish Last , he placed Discipline among the biggest sizes on the European street punk scene. A tour followed with Agnostic Front, Dropkick Murphys and US Bombs. The album is followed by Love Thy Neighbor around 2000, and Discipline participates in the Unity Tour which includes Agnostic Front, Ignite, Shutdown and The Forgotten. Little by little, Eindhoven's band is building a small audience and scums festivals such as Dynamo Open Air, Holidays in The Sun, and Vans Warped Tour. In 2002, Saints And Sinners was released and Discipline embarked on the Eastpack Resistance Tour. The album is released in the USA on GMM Records and the label takes advantage of the bounty to bring out Love Thy Neighbor and Nice Boys Finish Last. The same year was published Working Class Heroes, split live with Agnostic Front, and produced by Roger Miret.
