Disgorge
Biography
Formed in 1992, Disgorge then consists of Bryan Ugartechea, Tony Freithofer and Ricky Myers. Quickly, the same year, the combo released a first demo Cognitive Lust of Mutilation before separating from Ugartechea following a move in San Diego. The remaining members recruit Matti Way to the song and Eric Flesy to the bass and then recompose to a second demo, soberly titled Demo, in 1995.
Two years later, Freithofer and Flesy left Disgorge and it was not until late 1998 that Diego Sanchez and Ben Marlin (Strangulation) joined the remaining 3 members. The band signed with Unique Leader Records and announced She Lay Gutted for November 1999. After a new line-up change (Way quits as a singer in 2001, replaced by A.J. Magana de Deprecated), Disgorge recorded Consume the Forsaken, just before the departure of their new frontman. Parallels of Infinite Torture does not deviate from the rule, with Levi Fuselier singing and Ed Talorda as new guitarist. The combo toured Eurasian and made an appearance in Paranormal Activity. Unfortunately, in 2008 Ben Marlin died of cancer.
Sanchez, Talorda and Way, joined by members of Warface, formed Violently Vomit , a tributary band in Disgorge , with Magana's appearances with singing (sometimes replaced by Angel Ochoa de Condemned ).
In 2011, Myers announced a new album, And the Weak Shall Perish, with a new line-up: Fuselier, Myers, Erik Lindmark (Deeds of Flesh) and Derek Byer (Suffocation, Decrepit Birth). It will be modified again in 2013, after signing with Extreme Management Group Inc, with Myers, Diego Soria, Angel Ochoa, Ed Talorda and Diego Sanchez.
