Biography

Doom:Vs is a one man band orchestrated by Johan Ericson, a Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer involved in many other projects, of which the best known is Draconian. Wanting to play a dark and depressive music resembling Mourning Beloveth or Shape Of Despair, he started his adventure in 2004. It will only take him a few months to release Empire Of The Fallen , the first highly perceived demo in the underground Doom that will allow him to sign a deal with the Finnish Firedoom Records the following year. This is how Doom:Vs released his first effort, Aeternum Vale, in early summer 2006. Two years later, he repeated with Dead Words Speak at the same label. After a break in the six-year project, Doom:Vs returns to Solitude Productions with a third opus: Earthless .
