Down I Go
Biography
In 2005, London formed a funny group. Pete Fraser (chant), Ben Standage (battery), Alan Booth (guitar and ex-Ex-Johnny Truant) and Marek Beresa (bass) meet and create a hardcore, hazelnut band with more jazzy, amazing and distinguished parts. Their first album, This Is Dinocore, was released on Undergroove Records the same year. Then came a second opus named This Is Disastercore the following year. We start talking about them, and listeners classify their music under a new label, this is the era of disastercore. The 3rd strand this series is born with the EP This Is Robotcore . Finally, acclaimed by webzines, Down I Go gave birth to Tyrant in 2008. The theme of this unique work is that each piece is subject to a dictator. Living, vibrant, chaotic, poetic, this third album is the band's ascent to a recognition, still not well known, but larger. In 2009, the EP came out of film and demo Witness the Shitness. Ben, Allan and Marek will join in parallel the Kick Up The Fire (Hardcore) project with Andrew, Kenny and Thom Wicks, three ex-Raid On The Arcade. Down I Go returns in 2011, without Marek Beresa, with the theme of the gods, in their new ep Gods signed on Shelsmusic (Black Sheep Wall, Admiral Angry ..). A production that is always so farfetched that will be their last effort until the split of the group.
