Originally from Richmond (Virginia), Down To Nothing , a straight edge band of hardcore/punk, was born in 2000. Some of its members have also played in bands based in the same city, such as Murder Weapon (hardcore) or Game On (pop-punk). After making two demos, the first album by Down To Nothing was released in July 2003 by Thorp Records, under the title Save It For The Birds . In May 2004, the band participated in Shnarler Records' compilation straight edge with the song "Fire Escape", from the previous album. The following year, he made his second album, Splitting Headache, and shot with bands such as Champion, 100 Demons or Outbreak. Two splits will also be recorded, with Kids Like Us (Knife Or Death Records) and On Thin Ice (Grave Mistake Records, Dead And Gone Records). Down To Nothing also contributes to the compilation of Revelation Records, Generations: A Hardcore Compilation, with "I Will Win". In December 2005, the band signed with the prestigious label and, as early as 2006, realized a 7" title Higher Learning, including the cover of Four Walls Falling's "Burn It". After many concerts including Have Heart , Sinking Ships , Internal Affairs or Bane , Down To Nothing's third album, The Most , was released in July 2007.
