
Dozer
Biography
Dozer is a quartet from Borlänge, a Swedish industrial city known for its high crime rate. In 1995 the band was composed of Fredrik Nordin (Guitare / Chant), Tommi Holappa (Guitare), Magnus Larsson (Basse), and Daniel Lidén (Batterie). For the first time in the dilapidated and drunken cellar of a clandestine club, the four women played pieces of Kyuss and Monster Magnet, until the police arrived in jeopardy. Three years later, in 1998, the bassist left the band and was quickly replaced by Johan Rockner. Shortly after this arrival, Dozer became known by releasing his first single in Face-B by Demon Cleaner, with whom they later collaborated. Also in 1998, Dozer recorded a first ep, Coming Down The Mountain, with Unida this time. In 2000, the band released its first album, In The Tail Of A Comet at Man's Ruin Records, and the Swedes toured Europe to promote the album and especially to make themselves known outside Sweden. A year later, the band released its second album, Madre De Dios . Soon after the band was released by his label and decided to go back to Europe. Dozer who changed drummer with Karl Daniel Lidén who replaces Erik, returns under a new label, Molten Universe, in 2003, and with their third album: Call It Conspiracy. To celebrate his ten-year anniversary, Dozer released his fourth album Through The Eyes Of Heathens in October 2005, which is probably the culmination of their career. In 2006, Olle Mårthans replaced Karl behind the drums and in 2008 Dozer released his new album, Beyond Colossal at Small Stone Recordings. And then it's radio silence, the Swedish released an ep six titles in 2013 named Vultures, but point of news in ten years to believe that the group is more than it exists...
