Biography

Drowning is a Parisian band formed in May 1996. The band became known by playing numerous concerts across France, and many in Belgium (the band said they were more known than at home...). The band will release some songs and a split with Restrain, they record a first MCD in 1999, which will allow them to shoot all over Western Europe with bands like Napalm Death, Sinister, Stampin' Ground or Snappase. The group then knows the curse of line-up changes. In the middle of the tour, their drummer breaks his finger and has to leave the band momentarily. After this bad first episode, the band recorded new songs and signed with Bones Brigade. In 2002 released the album Age Old Nemesis, which will not have a promo tour because of the incessant changes of line-up... 3 years later, with a new solid line-up, Drowning releases its new more old-school burn: Apocalypse Unsealed.
