Dunkelnacht
Biography
The story of Dunkelnacht (shadow night in German) begins in late 2004 created by Heimdall (Guitare / Programming) first as a Dark Ambient project. Thus, the following year was very fertile since two demos came out: The Old Recording and Das Leiden Für Die Ewigkeit, then joined by Nygh Gaunt (Chant, Artwork) the band experimented with the Raw Black-Metal by a split (Eradication Process) with Grim Forest. Beowülf (Guitare) also joined the group in 2005 and Dunkelnacht began writing compositions affirming the group's recent evolution. Yet in 2006, Heimdall finished his latest Ambient demo entitled Gjennom Tidene Til Døde Guder , and it was only in 2007 with the arrival of Alkhemohr (Chant / Bass) that the band produced its first official records (two splits with Shadowdream and Mass Grave ) with a Black-Metal mixing atheist speeches and fast rhythms. Beowülf left the formation at the end of 2007 replaced by Svarte in 2008, then Déhà ( Yhdarl , Merda Mundi , Wunde , Khel , Slow ) and Hadrian took up the positions of singer and guitarist respectively in 2009. The Godless Whoreship, split with Harshness, Necros and Deviant Messiah announces the eponymous song Atheist Dezekration from Dunkelnacht's first album. The Welsh were back in 2014 with Revelatio, then in 2016 with an EP, Ritualz of The Occult.
