East Rodeo

Going towards his third album, scheduled for early 2011 in Croatia and throughout the year in our countries, East Rodeo has developed his own aesthetic and interpretation of hazel-rock, a kind of hybridization between the agony of a Sonic Youth and the most crazy mathematical experiments of the Tortoise of the 1990s, all with a rare natural and intense poetry. And even if his second album, Dear Violence , rightly explored the possibilities of violent artistic spasms, the face of Croatian music returned in 2011 with Morning Cluster towards a sweetness capable of the worst melodic beauties and rhythmic entanglements. A leading player in the Balkan experimental music, East Rodeo will soon benefit from a wider diffusion and will have all the recognition it deserves.
