Edelweiss Piraten is native to Olsztyn, Poland. Active for a dozen years now, the group has seen a multitude of members march in its ranks to stabilize around Elvis, Arab, Maciek, Piotrek and Zofia. The first album was released in 2009. The Polish formation drew its curious name from a group of young antifascists aged 14-18 who stood up against Hitler during the Second World War.
