Biography

Eisbrecher is a German metal band affiliated with the Neue Deutsche Härte movement, founded in 2003 by the two former Megaherz Alexx Wesselsky (chant) and Noel Pix (guitar / programming). An eponymous album appeared in 2004, followed in 2006 by Antikörper , which allowed them to play first part of U.D.O. and to play in a few festivals. Sünde, in 2008, helped popularize them by entering German charts. In addition to concerts outside their native country, it is also the first opus to appear in the United States. Albums and tours continue to follow each other, with records appearing regularly in the German, Swiss and Austrian rankings. After Sturmfahrt (2017), it is a compilation to celebrate the fifteen years of Eisbrecher which is born in October 2018: Ewiges Eis . It will be followed in 2020 by a cover album, Schicksalsmelodien, and it is in 2021 that the eighth real album arrives: Liebe Macht Monster.
