Biography

Originally from San Francisco, Enablers is the fusion of the spoken words of Pete Simonelli, underground author perpetuating the beat generation, and musicians from the post rock scene version Slint and June Of 44. Kevin Thompson ( Touched By A Janitor , Morning Champs ) and Joe Goldring ( Swans , Toiling Midgets ) are on guitar, as well as Yuma Joe Byrnes on drums, which will be replaced by Doug Scharin ( June Of 44 ) after the band's second album, Output Negative Space . In addition to its singular essence, Enablers is characterized by high flying performances, intensified by Pete Simonelli's vocal and gestureal energy.
