Biography

Epileptic was born from the meeting of Ghislain (ex April ), Sam and David (ex Over Ten Inches , Ballsbreakers ) in 1995. At that time the trio listened a lot to the American pop noisy scene ( Buffalo tom , Dinosaur Junior , Sonic Youth , Lemonheads , Neil Young ) and made quick love songs with crazy guitar solis and cold-wave bass lines. Next to this, the band was interested in another musical register that was more noisey, harder ( Condense, Tantrum, Fugazi and Diskord school). From these influences emerged the Epileptic sound between punk, noise, pop, emo and I pass. In 1999, Cold Smoothed Blues acted as "first real album", followed Last Temptations in 2001 on Time Records and finally The First day of our second life in 2001 available on Rejuvenation and Pi-Core (the band's label).
