Evangelista

It was in 2007 that Evangelista was born under the impulse of Carla Bozulich, an atypical voice and avant-garde musician born in NY and relocated to the West Coast (LA, San Pedro). Solo albums, including the very good Evangelista in 2005, amazing projects such as The Geraldine Fibbers or Scarnella, multimedia performances in Los Angeles are as many paths as Carla explores. Evangelista is a variable geometry entity including bassist Tara Barnes, Shazad Ismaily and a modular part of the string section of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and A Silver Mt. Zion. In 2007, Hello Voyager was recorded in Montreal (Hotel2Tango) by Efrim, who released the record on his label, Constellation Records in February of the following year.
