Biography

Exeter's roots are to be found in Texas in the early 2000s, when two guitarists, Mike and Cameron, met, and even beyond, somewhere in an alternative rock pan of the 1990s. The group really only took off in 2006 when its first EP: Intra Venus was released. Originally more planned as a demo, it is a finished product that eventually arrives and receives a good reception at the local level. We find Exeter two years later on The Nurse Who Loved Me. This record, a tribute to Fairure , a cursed cult band and anonymous at a time where Ken Troy Van Leeuwen (viewed since at A Perfect Circle and Queens of the Stone Age ) and Ken Andrews played among others, allows to extend the still limited reputation of Austin's combo that returns the following year with, this time full album under the arm. Grey Noise, White Lies , released in August 2009 confirms the close links between Exeter's music and that of the San Francisco band.
