Exivious

Exivious emerged in 2005 and then brought together members of Cynic, Dodecahedron, Pestilence and Textures. The Dutch practiced the concrete alliance of jazz and metal, and eventually released in 2009 a first album in self-production, acclaimed by critics but little distributed. In 2010 Tymon and Robin's obligations related to Cynic forced them to take a break. A year later the two left their band and found themselves totally free to compose for Exivious. At the same time Stef Broks (Textures ) must in turn devote himself to his main group, he will be replaced by Yuma Van Eekelen ( Pestilence ). After a visit to Brutal Assault, their first big open-air festival, and a European tour with Obscura , Gorod and Spawn of Possession , the band showed resolutely immersive performances. Exivious release Liminal in 2013 at Season of Mist, the second album that took advantage of crowdfunding's joys to exist, collecting more than double the initial target of 8,000 euros.
