Fairyland

Philippe Giordana (claviers) and Willdric Lievin (battery/bass) created Fantasia in 1998. They released their first Tribute To Universe demo in 1999, a colorful Metal but quite banal compared to today. The second demo, Realm Of Wonders , was released in 2002 and has good support from specialized media. They then met Tony Parker (ex-guitarist of Heavenly ) and definitely renamed Fairyland. The first album, Of Wars In Oshyria , was recorded at Wizard Studio during 2002. The line-up is then composed of Philippe Giordana with keyboards, Willdric Lievin with bass, drums and rhythm guitar, d'Anthony Parker with guitar and Elisa C. Martin (ex-Dark Moor , recruited during studio recording) with singing. The troupe joins Intromental Management, allowing them to sign a deal with the label Nothing To Say. The album was released in April 2003 and the band toured in the first part of Sonata Arctica. In 2004 Willdric Lievin and Elisa C. Martin left the ship to form Hamka (progressive metal with symphonic tendencies). Fairyland therefore went looking for new recruits and hired Thomas Cesario as guitarist/bassist, Pierre-Emmanuel Desfray behind the drums and Max Leclercq as singer. The band, once again in full, began working on its new album, The Fall Of An Empire. The album was recorded in the spring of 2006 and released in the fall of the same year under the label Avalon Marquee au japon and Napalm Records for the rest of the world. He followed a European tour with Leaves Eyes' and Kamelot . It was in July 2007 that all members of the group, with the exception of Philippe Giordana, left the combo to form Stelaria . He still decides to continue the project on his own and plans to release Score To A New Beginning , Fairyland's third album , by the end of 2008, see early 2009. Like a metal opera, the album will include many guests from the Metal scene including Marco Sandron ( Pathosray) with the main song.
