Biography

In addition to being the scene of bloody wars in Iraq, Fallujah has been a formation of San Fransisco's Death Metal technique since 2007. Andrew Baird (Battery), Scott Carstairs (Guitare), Alex Hofmann (Chant), Brandon Hoberg (Basse) and Rob Maramonte (Guitare) released a demo and their first ep in 2009, Leper Colony , in self-production and unveiled their brutal, hybrid and dark Deathcore. After a few line-up changes in 2009 (Rob Morey (Basse) and Anthony Borges (Guitare) replaced Brandon and Rob) and a few concerts, the band returned in 2010 with a second demo whose core component was even more marked. Violent, even darker and more technical than in the past, however, it is impossible to classify it alongside aseptic Deathcore productions. Rob Maramonte took up the position of guitarist at the end of 2010 for the composition of the first album. Fallujah released The Harvest Wombs in 2011 via Unique Leader Records that radiates power and inspiration by mixing with Black Metal, Brutal Death Metal, Deathcore and grandiose melodies. Two years later, ep Nomadic proposes what the group does best in terms of composition. Rob Maramonte left the team again at the end of 2013 and was replaced by Brian James. Fallujah composed his second album, The Flesh Prevails , which appeared in 2014 and revealed a more atmospheric, but still violent, posture, continued with Dreamless two years later. It was at that time that Alex Hoffman left the group to devote himself to other projects. Fallujah then started looking for a new singer, in the person of Antonio Palermo, and recorded a new album released in 2019: Undying Light.
