Fantômas

Fantômas is the project created by Mike Patton ( Faith No More , Mr Bungle ) after the end of Faith No More in 1998. No wonder the group brings together three figures from three major groups in their styles: Buzz Osborne ( The Melvins ) on guitar, Trevor Dunn ( Mr Bungle ) on bass and dave Lombardo ( Slayer ) on drums. The band works in the avant-garde metal, taking care to vary the concepts for each album: the science fiction with Fantomas, the cinema (rather than the movie BOs) revisited in Director's cut, Delirium Corda bathe in surgery, finally, the universe of drawings-animated with Suspended Animation (or each track is named according to a day of April) However, as Mike Patton could not be on all fronts, the band has been hibernation since 2006, but continues to perform from time to time.
