Feeder
Biography
Born in the early 1990s, the Welsh band Feeder started its journey in 1995, on the ashes of the previous formations of its two founders, guitarist and singer Grant Nicholas and drummer Jon Lee, with the arrival of bassist Taka Hirose. After two EPs "Two Colours" and "Swim", the band released its first album, "Polythene", in 1997. Offering relatively abrasive rock music, the band soon formed an audience in Britain but also in the USA, with marathon tours in front of a faithful and numerous audience, while remaining very discreet in our beautiful country. A songwriter, the group's leader, Grant Nicholas, manages however to create small jewels of British pop-rock such as "Buck Rodgers", on the very successful 3rd opus "Echo Park", which even the French public has probably already heard. While the themes remained substantially the same, love, loss and hope in particular, the sound has become less heavy in recent years.
