Finch's story begins with Numb , a metal band based in California. Gradually, the band turned more to the punk-rock, leading to the music we know about it, while Randy Strohmeyer, for his part, contacted Richard Reines, owner of Drive-Thru Records. Its objective: to be signed by the label. And it's done in 2001 as a first EP 4 tracks comes out named Falling Into Place. The latter will be followed, two years later for France, by the release of Finch's first album: What It Is To Burn. This opus, which benefits from the mixing/production work of Mark Trombino ( Jimmy Eat World , Blink 182 ), is a great success. The band then began to turn more and more and evolves towards a sound both darker, and heavier, enjoyed by Say Hello To Sunshine , second effort of the quintet, released in June 2005...
