Biography

Finntroll was born in 1997 and already at the time this Finnish baby was quite atypical, a keyboard, big guitars, a drum preferring the heavy sound of the double, a screaming song; There one might think that it is already seen; but all this is played out in a very special way; The black metal is melded with humppa (a variety of Polka), the trollish metal was born. The band then released its first album in 1999, the band gradually made a reputation, musically interesting, scenically very good it does not take long to yield to the good mood of Finntroll's music. In 2003, after it was released from their 3rd album Teemu " Somnium" Raimoranta decede following an accident, the goup was then suspended but he decided to continue. A new guitarist, Mikael Karlbom, arrived in the band and the adventure resumed. In 2004 Nattfödd and Trollhammaren were released; The band then made its first tour in the lead. Beer flows and the people beg even more! It was in 2006 that Tapio Wilska made the microphone after more than four years of good and loyal services to give way to Vreth. In 2007, with the release of the fourth album, Ur Jordens Djup , Finntroll embossed a more aggressive metal and highlighted all the darkest aspects of his music. With the release of Nifelvind in 2010, the band will come back with a more nuanced but always borrowed from this nasty sharp claw, between trollesque clowneries and epic melancholy.
